Heat Pump Rebates

Central Air Source & Mini-Split Heat Pumps - $150/ton
ELIGIBLE MEMBERS
Residential members in good standing with the cooperative are eligible for rebates.
Rebates are limited to eligible services (homes, lake homes, shops, barns, etc.) that purchase more than 6,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity from the Cooperative on an annual basis.
The structure in which the member resides must be a permanent structure on a permanent foundation on the land owned by the member.
ELIGIBLE HEAT PUMP EQUIPMENT
Equipment must be installed by a certified dealer and meet the ENERGY STAR +2 SEER rating of 17.
Heat pumps that receive rebates may be subject to cooperative load control programs. The participant agrees to allow the cooperative to control their heating and cooling equipment now or in the future.
Rebates are limited to a maximum of 50 tons commercial and 10 tons residential per facility.
Space Heating: The heat pump may be used to replace existing heat pumps, electric resistance, or fossil fuel equipment in the home.
REBATE DETAILS
Submit additional applications for multiple units.
The application must include all the information requested.
Recipients of rebates may be requested to participate in a future survey by phone or e-mail.
INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED AND WILL BE RETURNED TO THE MEMBER.
Please allow 6-8 weeks for rebate processing. Please keep a copy for your records.

Ground Source Heat Pump - $150-750/ton
ELIGIBLE MEMBERS
Residential members in good standing with the cooperative are eligible for rebates.
Rebates are limited to eligible services (homes, lake homes, shops, barns, etc.) that purchase more than 6,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity from the Cooperative on an annual basis.
The structure in which the member resides must be a permanent structure on a permanent foundation on the land owned by the member.
ELIGIBLE HEAT PUMP EQUIPMENT
Equipment must be installed by a certified dealer.
Electric backup heat MUST be separated from the ground source unit with a separate breaker.
Ground source systems must be installed with specific Delta-T calculations supported by a Manual J "Residential Load Calculation" publics by the Air Conditioning Contractors of America as follows: North of the Missouri River = 80; South of the Missouri River = 70. Ask your HVAC contractor to verify that these requirements are met.
The cooperative many inspect the facility to determine if R-38 insulation is present in the ceiling and R-13 in the walls.

Advanced Thermostat Rebate

Programmable Thermostat Rebate $50
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Must be a member in good standing with the cooperative.
Rebates are limited to eligible services (homes, lake homes, shops, barns, etc.) that purchase more than 6,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity from the Cooperative on an annual basis.
The thermostat must be ENERGY STAR® rated.
Rebates may be subject to cooperative load control programs. The participant agrees to allow the cooperative to control their heating and cooling equipment now or in the future.
Limit of up to two (2) per member address/location.
Rebates are available for existing and new homes.

Water Heater Rebates

Electric Water Heater - $50
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Must be a member in good standing with the cooperative.
Rebates are limited to eligible services (homes, lake homes, shops, barns, etc.) that purchase more than 6,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity from the Cooperative on an annual basis.
The energy efficiency rating of the new unit must meet Department of Energy (DOE) standards at the time of manufacture.
If the new unit replaces an old unit, the efficiency rating of the old electric unit must be less than 0.9.
Tankless water heaters are NOT eligible for this program.
Gas water heaters are NOT eligible for this program.
Limit of up to two (2) per meter.
Rebates are available for existing and new homes.
Rebate applies only to 40 gallons or larger electric water heating units.
Replacing a gas water heater with an electric water heater is eligible for a rebate.
Water heaters that receive rebates may be subject to cooperative load control programs. The participant agrees to allow the cooperative to control their heating and cooling equipment now or in the future.

Electric Heat Pump Water Heater Rebate - $500
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Must be a member in good standing with the cooperative.
Rebates are limited to eligible services (homes, lake homes, shops, barns, etc.) that purchase more than 6,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity from the Cooperative on an annual basis.
The appliance must be ENERGY STAR rated.
If the new unit replaces an old unit, the efficiency rating of the OLD electric unit must be less than 0.9.
Tankless water heaters are NOT eligible for this program.
Gas water heaters are NOT eligible for this program.
Replacing a gas water heater with a heat pump water heater is eligible for this program.

Home Energy Audit Rebates

Home Energy Audit
This program is designed to increase the purchase and installation of high efficiency products in member’s home. The cost of the audit is $75.00, which is a $350 value, and is to be paid up front with completion of required form.
COOPERATIVE WILL REFUND 50 PERCENT (50%) (UP TO $750) of the cost of the repairs/improvements by the auditors report.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible, you must be a member of the cooperative. Audits are available for new or existing homes. Multiple-occupancy buildings (apartments, duplexes, etc.) are eligible for weatherization rebate on a single structure basis. Rebate program is limited to cooperative services that use 6000 kWh or more on an annual basis. Eligible services include lake homes, workshops, barns, etc.

Room Air Conditioner Rebate

Room Air Conditioner Rebate - $50
IMPORTANT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The window air conditioner must be installed where electricity is supplied by the cooperative.
Rebates are limited to eligible services (homes, lake homes, shops, barns, etc.) that purchase more than 6,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity from the Cooperative on an annual basis.
You must include a copy of the original dated sales receipt with this application.
Include your account number. By submitting this form electronically, you agree to accept any and all terms and conditions required to participate in this program.
Please complete a separate application for each installation site.
Incomplete rebates will not be processed for rebates.
Recipients of rebates may be requested to participate in a future survey by email or by phone.
Submit within 90 of the installation date.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Must be a member in good standing with the cooperative.
Cooperative must verify if ENERGY STAR rated room conditioning unit is purchased.
Limit one (1) rebate per member address.
The rebate will apply for the purchase of one new ENERGY STAR-rated unit for the replacement of an existing unit.
Rebates are available for existing and new homes.
Electric Vehicle Charger Rebate

Level 2 EV Charger Rebate - $250
ELIGIBLE MEMBERS
Residential members in good standing with the cooperative are eligible for rebates when buying qualifying electric vehicles and EV Level 2 charging stations.
The structure in which the member resides must be a permanent structure on a permanent foundation on the land owned by the member.
Rebates are limited to eligible homes or businesses that purchase more than 6,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity from the cooperative on an annual basis.
ELIGIBLE ELECTRIC VEHICLES
Vehicle must be 100% electric. Electric/gas hybrids do not qualify. Member must keep the vehicle for 24 months or upgrade. This is subject to periodic inspection by the cooperative.
Owner must provide proof of purchase or lease, title application, and bill of sale within 90 days and attach to this form.
Vehicle must be less than 3 years old.
ELIGIBLE ELECTRIC VEHICLE LEVEL 2 OR 3 CHARGING STATIONS
Equipment must be new and UL listed.
The cooperative reserves the right to complete an on-site inspection of the charger after install.
EV charging stations that receive rebates may be subject to cooperative load control programs. The participant agrees to allow the cooperative to control the timing of their charging equipment now or in the future.
Member must have meter base installed by a qualified electrician. After the base is installed, the cooperative will install an automated meter to take readings from the unit.
Owner must provide proof of purchase within 90 days and attach it to this form.
REBATE DETAILS
Limit of two rebates per member per year.
The application must include all the information requested on the front of this application. Incomplete applications will not be processed and will be returned to the member.

Industrial/Commercial Rebates

Business Lighting Program
This rebate program is being offered to commercial, industrial and agricultural cooperative business members. Only members with greater than 10 fixtures at their facility will qualify. The rebate amount is available only on existing structures (Effective 4-1-19 new structures will not be eligible) and will be determined prior to installation and calculated based on an audit of existing and replacement lighting. Total rebate amount is limited to $30,000 per member per year and in no case will exceed 40 percent of the total equipment cost. Contact Member Services to inquire about this program.
